Top 5 Kitchen Tools For Father’s Day

Father’s day is a week away. Today I have a few suggestions for kitchen tools dad may like. I’m going to try and cover a wide range of prices so there is something for everyone. Here are my top 5 kitchen tools for Father’s Day.

BBQ Grill Tool Set

The first pick maybe a bit of a cliche, but if your dad likes to grill, he will probably enjoy a good grill set. There are countless options available in stores and on the web. I’ve got three listed below ranging from $19 to $60. All 3 are rated over 4 stars on Amazon.

First up we have a 3 piece set made by Amazon Basics. The set includes a spatula, a pair of tons, and a 2 pronged fork. This is everything your dad needs for basic grilling. The set also comes with a carrying case.

Next up is a 19 piece set from Grillart. This set is more expensive, coming in at $60, but it comes with a lot of toys. On top of the usual suspects like spatulas and tongs, this set also includes skewers, a grill cleaning brush, and a grill basting brush. It also has a sweet aluminum carrying case. I think dad will really like this one.

My final selection is for dads that already have a grill set. This grill cleaning set comes with two wire brush heads. If your dad’s grill has seen better days and needs a thorough cleaning, this is the gift for him.

Burger Press

Since my parents divorced and my mother remarried, I have an extra dad to buy for. Throw my father-in-law into the mix, and that is now three dads to buy for! Some years money runs tight, but I still want to get each one of them a neat gift. A burger press is a great idea for dads who like grilling burgers.

I purchased one of these for my father a couple of years ago. He makes the most amazing grilled burgers. I thought this would help him whip them up a little faster. He loved it!

This model from Cuisinart is really neat as it makes 3 different types of burgers. You can make regular burgers, stuffed burgers, and sliders. It is also non-stick and dishwasher safe. I think your dad will have fun with this!

Knife Block

Men like knives. Whether its a pocket knife, hunting knife, or a chef’s knife, we love them all. Knives require maintenance and proper storage to keep the blades sharp. Traditional wooden blocks can blunt the tips and dull the blades of your kitchen knives. Enter the universal knife block.

These two universal knife blocks are sleek and compact. Both have 4 and a half star ratings on Amazon. I went with a stainless steel and black model which should match most modern kitchens. There are tons of other options if these don’t match yours.

Dutch Oven

A dutch oven is such a versatile pot. You can utilize almost any cooking method with it. It can cook on the stovetop or in the oven. A dutch oven can be used to fry, saute, braise, you name it.

I bought this model from Lodge for my dad a few years ago. The fact that it is cast iron means it will last forever if properly taken care of. It had great ratings when I first found it, and it has lived up to the reputation. It’s a great pickup for the price, starting at only $30. You can upgrade to larger sizes for a bit more money.

Coffee Pot

I can’t function without my cup of coffee in the morning. I currently use a Mr. Coffee K-Cup brewer. With two young children that love to rise with the sun, it’s a big help to get that coffee made quickly and easily. Perhaps your dad could use an upgrade?

I have three models listed here. First is a standard Mr. Coffee 12 cup maker. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. Next up is a Keurig single-serve K-Cup brewer with a 48-ounce water reservoir. Finally, I have a Keurig K-Cafe brewer that makes coffee, lattes, and cappuccinos.

One of these three should fit your dad’s needs. The Keurig single-serve is similar to what I use. The K-Cafe model is great if your dad likes the fancier styles of coffee.

These are my ideas for the top 5 kitchen tools for Father’s Day. As long as you put some thought into it, I’m sure your dad will enjoy whatever you get him. I hope this was helpful!
