Do I need an air fryer? If you are asking yourself this question, the answer is probably yes! Air fryers are versatile appliances that combine the functions of multiple devices. It can be a replacement for your toaster, oven, and deep fryer. Keep reading for my Aumate Air Fryer Review.
What Can An Air Fryer Do?
An air fryer is basically a type of convection oven. Both types of ovens use fans to circulate air during the cooking process. This leads to a more even cook. Convection ovens have been around for decades, but air fryers popped up more recently and quickly became a hugely popular product.
Why are air fryers so popular? The main reason is that they offer a healthier alternative to deep-frying. By spraying a bit of oil onto whatever item you are cooking, you can mimic the flavor and texture of a deep-fried dish. This is accomplished with far less oil than deep-frying.
One common side dish that is very popular with air fryers is french fries. The little potato strips are irresistible but quite unhealthy. An air fryer allows you to enjoy them without plunging them into a vat of oil.
Air fryers do more than just replace your deep fryer. They can also replace your oven in most circumstances! Most air fryers come with multiple settings, including a normal baking option. A decent-sized air fryer can easily fit a family-sized pyrex dish in it. You can use this tabletop appliance instead of firing up your 220-watt oven. This is a huge benefit in the summer when you are trying to keep your house cool.
As you can see, air fryers have a lot to offer. It’s one of the reasons I have them listed as one of 5 appliances you need in your kitchen.

The Aumate Air Fryer is a multi-function appliance with 7 different cooking methods. It can keep food warm, broil, fan broil, toast, bake, fan bake, and air fry. The fan functions, including the air fryer function, utilize the appliance’s fan for more efficient cooking.
This model comes with four knobs across the top front face of the device. The first knob is for adjusting toast settings, the second knob is for choosing what cooking function you want to work with, the third knob is for setting temperatures, and the last knob is the timer. To the left of the knobs is a light to indicate when the oven is on. On the right of the knobs is a button to activate a light inside the device.

The Aumate has a pulldown door typical to most toast ovens. Inside you will find 3 rack levels. This is a nice setup with the four accessories that come with the unit: a crumb tray, a baking ban, an oven rack, and a fry basket. These accessories allow you to utilize the full functionality of the air fryer.
The item dimensions are listed as 16 x 13.5 x 15 with a weight of 18 pounds. The Aumate has a cooking capacity of 19 quarts, making it perfect for family meals. The large cooking space and removable door also make it easy to clean after cooking. This model requires 1550W of power and can reach temperatures up to 450 degrees.
Do I Need An Air Fryer?
Having worked with air fryers for a couple of years now, I can say with confidence they are definitely worth it. It is basically an upgraded toaster oven. Prior to owning air fryers, I had already upgraded to only buying convection toaster ovens. This is the next evolution of the convection oven.
We use the air fryer almost every day. It has almost completely replaced our conventional oven. The Aumate easily has enough cooking space to feed my small family of four. The only time we have to fire up the regular oven is when we are having a large family gathering or we are baking multiple dishes. Outside of that, we always go with the air fryer.
The Aumate in particular is a good model. I love the traditional knobs in place of the digital controls on other models. It is simple and easy to use. The Aumate has plenty of space for our cooking needs, and the accessories are actually useful. It didn’t come with anything that was not needed.
The Aumate air fryer is a good buy. This model has a 4 and a half star rating on Amazon. I think this model will be especially good for those that have never owned or used an air fryer due to its simplicity. If you are in the market for a new air fryer, give this one a look.
