I don’t know about you, but I love leftovers. When I put a lot of time and energy into a meal, I like to be able to enjoy it more than once. To be able to enjoy leftovers, you need proper food storage equipment. Today I’m going to go over some easy food storage solutions.
Simple Solutions
Let’s start with the easiest and most obvious choice. Sometimes you can store food in the dish it was cooked in. An example of this would be lasagna baked into a Pyrex dish. All you have to do is let the lasagna cool, then cover the entire dish in plastic wrap. Simple!

Another cheap storage solution is freezer bags. These are great for storing leftover meat, extra diced vegetables, and much more. Ziplock is the biggest name out there, but generic brands tend to work just fine.
Rubbermaid
I’m sure a lot of you are familiar with Rubbermaid. It is one of the cheaper storage options, but it gets the job done. I have plenty of Rubbermaid containers that have lasted for years.
The brand has wide availability. You can find them locally in chains like Walmart. For example, they have a 42 piece set listed right now for $19.99. Rubbermaid can also be found online at Amazon.

Tupperware
Another brand you are probably familiar with is Tupperware. The brand is so popular the name has become synonymous with plastic food containers. While Tupperware makes some amazing products, they are pricier than some of the other options on this list.
One cool thing about Tupperware is their Independent Rep program. You can actually sell Tupperware products yourself. Right now they are offering $250 worth of products for $60.
Lock and Lock
Now for my favorite entry on the list. I absolutely love Lock and Lock containers. Their signature snap-lock lids are simple to use and secure your food better than traditional lids.

Freshware
