Christmas is a great time to help upgrade the kitchen for you and your loved ones. Today I’ll be sharing 5 outstanding Christmas gift ideas for the kitchen! I’ve already covered budget kitchen Christmas gift ideas, so today we’ll be looking at products with a little more WOW factor!
Espresso Maker
For the coffee lover in your life, an espresso maker will surely warm their heart as much as their coffee cup. Adding lattes, cappuccinos, and frappes to their home-brewed menu can be done with one simple purchase, as many products on the market offer multi-functionality.
The Ninja Espresso Barista system is one such product. This unit is both a coffee and an espresso maker. It also boasts a frother, a single-serve coffee option, and a removable water reservoir. For approximately $200 as of this writing, this is one of my favorite Christmas gift ideas for coffee lovers.
The espresso maker is the MVP of this unit. The ability to make espresso opens up the option for cappuccinos, lattes, frappes, you name it. Espresso is the core ingredient in all of those drinks.
Smoker
If you have a BBQ or grill master you need to find the perfect gift for, look into buying them a smoker. A good smoker will take your family BBQs to the next level. Grilling is great for hamburgers, hot dogs, and even steaks, but a smoker will open you up to brisket, pulled pork, and a whole new world of flavors.
I’ve already done a review on the Masterbuilt Digital Electric Smoker. I love the simplicity of an electric smoker. It takes the guesswork out of cooking. You do not have to fight the smoker to reach the right temperature, you simply set it and forget it.

If you don’t have a porch or yard for a smoker, never fear! This model from Weston Brands is built for indoor usage and doubles as a slow cooker. At just over $100, this is a terrific value.
Ice Cream Maker
Winter isn’t known for its cold treats, but its never to cold for ice cream! An ice cream machine is a fun Christmas gift idea that will brighten up birthday parties and family gatherings for years to come.
The Ninja Creami Deluxe has 11 in 1 functionality and XL capacity with its two 24 oz tubs. This one appliance can make ice cream, milkshakes, sorbet, and frozen yogurt. With this many cold treats covered, there is something for everyone in the whole family!
Multi Cooker
Let’s move past fun and move to functional. A multi-cooker opens you up to cooking more dishes and saves space on the countertop. A good multi-cooker will be able to pressure cook, slow cook, steam, and more.
The Instant Pot Duo Plus I previously reviewed is a great example of these types of multi-cookers. It boasts 9 in 1 functionality and a 6 quart capacity. At approximately $140 as of this writing, this is a pretty good value for all the function you get out of it.
And if you are looking for recipes, the internet is filled with Instant Pot recipes. You might even find some on this very website!
Air Fryer
Last but not least we have the humble air fryer. I have reviewed several over the years, and their importance in the kitchen can not be overstated. Having a mini-oven that cooks faster than a conventional oven is a huge plus. There’s a reason you see so many air fryer recipes these days.
One way you can save counterspace is by opting for a microwave/air fryer combo. I am looking to go this route myself soon, as my kitchen is overloaded. This model from Toshiba for $200 would make a great Christmas gift!
