Wings are the quintessential Super Bowl dish, but they can be messy. If you are looking to keep your hands clean this year at the big game, here are 5 appetizing sliders for the Super Bowl!
Ham And Cheese Sliders
My first pick is the simplest version, a classic ham and cheese slider. You can elevate this staple with quality ingredients. I like to start with King’s Hawaiian Rolls for the slider bun. When I’m feeling fancy I got with aged cheddar and black tavern ham.
For a simple and more classic version of the ham and cheese slider, you can opt for American cheese and honey ham. Condiments are optional for this simple sandwich. You can’t go wrong with mayo or mustard.
To really impress your guests, you could upgrade to a Cuban slider. Add some shredded roast pork and pickles, make a pitstop to the panini press, and everyone will go home happy.
Meatball Sliders
We frequently use BBQ meatballs as an appetizer for parties, big games, you name it. We love serving them in our Frigidaire Triple Slow Cooker/Buffet Server. They are great by themselves, but they are also delicious as a slider!
You can go simple with frozen meatballs and your favorite BBQ sauce on your roll of choice. This is usually the route we take. We like to give the sauce a little something extra by mixing in grape jelly.
Making homemade meatballs is one way to kick things up a notch. For BBQ meatballs, I use a pound of ground beef, breadcrumbs for the binder, eggs, mesquite seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, meat tenderizer, garlic and onion powder, and of course salt and pepper.

Chicken Parmesan Sliders
To complete the trifecta of meats, I offer you the chicken parmesan slider. The Italian classic in slider form will give you something scrumptious and different for your Super Bowl party.
For a simple version, you can opt to use a premade chicken patty and your favorite marinara sauce from the supermarket. Top with parm, and you are good to go.

Pulled Pork Sliders
You can’t go wrong with pulled pork! This BBQ staple makes for a great slider, especially on a good sweet roll.
There are several ways you can go about making pulled pork. The best way, in my opinion, is in the smoker. However, if that is not your cup of tea, you can make delicious pulled pork in a crock pot or a multi-cooker like an Instant Pot.
If you don’t use a smoker, then the choice of sauce becomes more important as its going to have a much bigger impact on taste.
You can elevate this by topping the pulled pork with coleslaw. Check out my creamy coleslaw recipe if you decide to go this route.
Buffalo Chicken Sliders
I had to finish with a buffalo chicken option! You can get all the taste with less of the mess with buffalo chicken sliders.
Just as with the parmesan chicken, you can opt for frozen patties and your favorite brand of sauce for a simple option. Sweet Baby Ray’s buffalo sauce is my personal favorite.
Homemade is almost always better, and I have a great fried chicken recipe on the site that would work great here. Homemade buffalo sauce is very easy to make, all you need is your favorite hot sauce and butter, and mix together in portions according to your heat tolerance.
